The Five-Star Lyrath Estate is the perfect location for your dream wedding. The family owned and run hotel has been built around an elegant 17th century house which has been returned to its former glory through careful restoration and now features lots of the original features and furniture. The drama of the old house and the clean, contemporary design of the hotel are blended seamlessly. Old world charm sits in perfect harmony with the slick new wing and the link with the old and new is both stylish and tasteful.
Set on 170 acres of mature parkland the hotel enjoys a tranquil, rural setting yet is within proximity to the city centre. There are three grand drawing rooms in the original Manor House which are perfect for drinks receptions with stunning views overlooking the gardens and surrounding parklands. The main ballroom has feature lighting, doors out to the landscaped terrace and even its own private entrance.
There are several areas that could be used for a civil ceremony on the Estate including lots of beautiful outdoor spaces such as the historic walled garden, or in front of the Manor House. There are plenty of picture-perfect locations too for photographs on the grounds including the lakes, the gardens, and the many emerald woods and leafy enclaves.
For the second day of your wedding celebration, you could hold a post wedding BBQ in the Pavilion, which is an all-weather covered outdoor setting adjacent to the hotel or you could enjoy private dining in one of the many elegant drawing rooms.
Lyrath Estate will host its exclusive Wedding Showcase on Sunday 16th of July, from 1pm to 5pm. This beautiful event provides the perfect opportunity for the couple-to-be, or for mothers, daughters, bridesmaids, and friends to sample everything that is on offer at Lyrath Estate from room décor, cuisine, and lots of other elements that make a couples dream day perfect. This showcase also provides the opportunity to meet with the Lyrath Estate wedding team and guests will also get the chance to see the rooms set up for a wedding to give them a true visualisation of the day.
Some of Lyrath’s most valued wedding suppliers and partners will also be on hand on the day and include wedding photographer Nick O’Keefe who will be able to offer some ‘picture perfect’ tips as well as Finesse Wedding Florists, Entertain You, Signature Weddings and much more.
