Naas based, Moloney & Co. Solicitors together with the Principal of the firm, Liam Moloney have been nominated for the Irish Law Awards. The nominations are in three separate categories, Leinster Provincial Law Firm of the Year, Sole Practitioner of the Year and Leinster Solicitor of the Year.
Now in their 6th year, the Irish Law Awards identify, honour, and publicise outstanding achievements of Law Firms and Solicitors in the legal profession. The glitzy black tie awards will take place on Friday, May 12th, at the Clayton Hotel in Ballsbridge, Dublin and will be attended by Ireland’s greatest legal minds and firms. Hosted by RTE’s, Miriam O’Callaghan the awards are regarded as the Oscar’s of the Irish legal profession.

Established in 1999, the firm has a team of six people including a Polish Consultant who provides translation services and legal support for the Polish community. Services include personal injury litigation including medical negligence and product liability cases. Liam, is a graduate of University College of Cork and also holds diplomas in civil litigation, employment law, commercial litigation, healthcare law and data protection.
The firm has taken an innovative approach to personal injury and has developed a vast network of associations with personal injury law firms overseas in order to provide immediate, and expert legal advice to any potential client injured in Europe, North America and beyond.
Liam Moloney is a respected legal voice and has made regular appearances on Irish TV and radio, while his many articles have published in the Law Society of Ireland Gazette and the Irish Times amongst others. His extensive experience has resulted in him providing seminars for other solicitors in Ireland, educating them on how cases can be run in North America.
Locally, the firm has provided sponsorship to sporting groups such as Naas GAA, Two Mile House GAA and other local community groups and also offers work placements for transition year students in a bid to encourage young people to pursue a career in the legal profession.
